Marshall Land Systems is seeking a Fitter B - Electrical to join our team in Moncton, NB. Reporting to the Supervisor, Components and Assembly, the Fitter B - Electrical is responsible for the installation of cabling, wiring, and electro-mechanical components into deployable shelters, under the supervision of Red Seal Industrial Electrician.
Your responsibilities in this role:
- Assemble and install electrical components into deployable shelters using engineering drawings and associated design data.
- Read schematic drawings and service manuals to determine work procedures.
- Operate standard equipment including but not limited to various testing tools.
- Assemble and install component pieces using hand and power tools.
- Adhere to all Health and Safety, and Quality policies and procedures.
- Participate in the creation of job instructions, operating procedures.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities.
- Other duties as assigned.
Apply if you have most of the following:
- Red Seal Industrial Electrician trade certification in progress, or eligibility to progress preferred Minimum three years’ experience in a manufacturing workplace, or demonstrated capability within Marshall production facility, preferred.
- Experience with electronics, and controls are preferred.
- Willing to learn other international electrical codes and practices.
- Must be well organized, self-motivated and results oriented, to ensure work assignments are completed in a timely manner.
- Able to deal with and support change.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Understanding of lean manufacturing principles including 5S, Kanban and SMED, preferred.
- Attention to detail.
- Able to build trust and respect among fellow team members.
- Able and willing to accept feedback and direction from Red Seal Industrial Electricians.
- Knowledge of computer software such as Microsoft Excel/Word, Outlook.
- Available to work overtime as required.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Must be eligible to meet the requirements of export control regulations, including the Canadian Controlled Goods Program and Canadian government security requirements.

The hourly range for this position is $26.44 to $31.25 commensurate on qualifications and work experience.
