Position Summary

We are seeking a hands-on and dependable Electronics Production and Repair Technician to support the assembly, testing, inspection, and basic troubleshooting of our electronic products.

Reporting to the Production Manager, the successful candidate will assist with day-to-day production activities, including qualifying various parts for Production, assembling products, performing functional tests, identifying basic faults, and evaluating products returned by customers for warranty repair or reported defects.

This position is well suited to someone who enjoys practical, detail-oriented work and has a basic understanding of electronics. Previous soldering experience is preferred; however, candidates with strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn precision soldering techniques will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

· Assemble electronic and electromechanical products in accordance with work instructions, drawings, bills of materials, and established production procedures.

· Perform soldering and rework of wires, connectors, and miniature electronic components.

· Conduct visual inspections to identify assembly defects, damaged components, poor solder joints, incorrect parts, or workmanship issues.

· Perform functional testing of completed products using established test procedures and test equipment.

· Record test results, serial numbers, repair activities, and other required production information.

· Assist with the inspection and evaluation of products returned by customers as defective or submitted for warranty repair.

· Perform basic troubleshooting to identify common hardware, connection, assembly, power, or configuration problems.

· Replace defective components, circuit boards, cables, connectors,



or other parts as authorized.

· Escalate complex technical problems to the Production Manager, engineering staff, or other appropriate personnel.

· Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.

· Follow electrostatic discharge, quality-control, safety, and product-handling procedures.

· Identify recurring defects, production issues, or unclear work instructions and bring them to the attention of the Production Manager.

· Assist with inventory counts, material preparation, packaging, shipping preparation, and other production-related duties when required.

Required Qualifications

· Electronic Technician diploma or equivalent desirable.

· Basic understanding of electronic circuits, components, wiring, connectors, polarity, and electrical safety.

· Ability to follow written assembly instructions, test procedures, diagrams, and technical documentation.

· Good manual dexterity and the ability to work carefully with small electronic components.

· Solid attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

· Ability to use common hand tools such as screwdrivers, cutters, wire strippers, crimpers, and small power tools.

· Ability to work independently after receiving instructions and to work effectively as part of a small production team.

· Good communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

· Previous experience in electronics assembly, manufacturing, repair, testing, or technical service.

· Experience soldering wires, connectors, through-hole components, or surface-mount components.

· Familiarity with soldering irons, hot-air rework tools, magnification equipment, and desoldering equipment.

· Experience using basic electronic test equipment, such as a digital multimeter, power supply,



oscilloscope, or electronic test fixture.

· Experience troubleshooting electronic, telecommunications, computer, networking, or Internet of Things products.

· Familiarity with electrostatic discharge precautions and quality-management procedures.

Physical and Work Requirements

· Ability to sit or stand at a production workstation for extended periods.

· Ability to distinguish small components, markings, connectors, and wiring details.

· Ability to lift and move packages, materials, or equipment with accommodation where required.

· Ability to work safely with soldering equipment, hand tools, electronic test equipment, and cleaning materials.

Working Conditions

This is an on-site position in a technology manufacturing environment. The employee will work closely with the Production Manager and may interact with engineering, quality, customer support, shipping, and administrative personnel. Working hours are from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday, including a one-hour lunch break.
