Located on beautiful Cortes Island, you will collaborate with the Infrastructure & Development Manager to foster a secure community.
Your responsibilities will include preparing policy drafts, coordinating emergency planning meetings, and identifying funding resources. This position offers a chance to make a real impact. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing the Emergency Management Department
- Conduct risk assessments and prepare reports
- Manage training programs for emergency committee members
- Attend external meetings as required
- Respond to emergency incidents as needed Requirements:
- Formal training in emergency management protocols
- Minimum of two years in administration or emergency services
- Strong understanding of First Nations emergency management
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Valid BC Class 5 Driver's License Utilize your expertise in emergency management to enhance the safety and resilience of Klahoose First Nation.
