Become an Intervenor with Sensity in St. Catharines, ON, providing essential support for individuals who are deafblind. Help enhance their communication and daily living skills and enable autonomy.
Sensity, a recognized leader in deafblind services, is seeking an Intervenor to join their team. This part-time role, offering 20-24 hours weekly, includes a mix of shifts across days, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. Key responsibilities include facilitating communication, supporting daily activities, and providing personal care, all aimed at promoting independence and self-sufficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support individuals in home and community settings
• Use communication techniques for information relay
• Empower clients in daily living skills




• Provide personal care as required
• Assist in goal development and program support
Requirements:
• College diploma in relevant human services fields
• Experience with developmental disabilities and mental health
• Proficiency in American Sign Language or Signed Exact English
• Valid Class G driver’s license and reliable vehicle
• Valuable communication skills in English
