Are you an Energy Analyst ready to become an Energy Manager?
Energy@Work is looking for an Energy Analyst who is ready to take the next step in their career to support our growing team.
This is more than a traditional analyst position. We are looking for someone who wants to build toward an Energy Manager role, developing from technical analysis into client-facing project management, identifying and implementing energy-saving opportunities, demonstrating results, and ultimately managing a portfolio of buildings and projects.
You will work alongside a seasoned Energy@Work team and gain exposure to the full energy-management cycle: utility and BAS analysis, benchmarking, RETScreen Expert, Measurement & Verification, commissioning, energy efficiency measures, client presentations, implementation support and ongoing performance monitoring.
We place particular value on robust oral and written communication skills, analytical ability, and proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Experience with RETScreen Expert, M&V;, IPMVP, a PMVA designation, BAS trends,
commissioning or ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager would be considered a strong asset - but you do not need to know everything on day one.
We are also investing in AI development and coaching. Our internal AI playbook is designed to help our team improve analysis, productivity and client value while maintaining professional judgment, quality control and accountability.
If you enjoy asking the “why” questions behind building performance, want more client exposure, and are looking for a path from Energy Analyst to Energy Manager, we would like to hear from you. At Energy@Work, analysis is about more than reporting numbers. We challenge assumptions, investigate how systems and operating strategies work, and build a deeper understanding of each building’s unique circumstances before making recommendations.
The result is advice that is thoughtful, well investigated, and grounded in how the building truly operates.
- Join Energy@Work and grow from analyzing building performance to helping lead it.
