This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Engagement Delivery Leader - Canadian Public Sector based in Canada.

This is a senior leadership opportunity focused on delivering complex, strategic transformation programs for public sector customers.

You will lead large, cross-functional teams and serve as a trusted partner to senior customer stakeholders.

The role combines program leadership, delivery governance, financial management, and strategic customer engagement.

You will oversee multiple projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and against agreed business outcomes.

Success will require balancing business priorities, technical considerations, organizational change, and customer expectations.

You will also help shape adoption, value realization, and the expansion of strategic technology initiatives.

The position offers the opportunity to influence large-scale transformation programs while working with experienced consulting and technology teams.

n Accountabilities

Lead complex enterprise and strategic programs from planning through delivery, establishing clear objectives, governance, communication channels, milestones, and success measures.

Serve as the primary customer interface, building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and ensuring alignment throughout the engagement.

Form, lead, motivate, and empower large cross-functional project teams, including technical and non-technical consultants, while promoting accountability and collaboration.

Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, monitor progress and timelines, adjust schedules as required, and ensure delivery remains on time and within budget.

Oversee program financials, resource utilization, budgets, project timesheets, and commercial considerations, including management of engagements with budgets of at least $15 million.

Manage multiple projects within a broader program or account, coordinating complex dependencies and cross-functional activities.

Lead requirements gathering, implementation planning, risk and issue management, communications, organizational change activities, and project governance.

Facilitate workshops, User Acceptance Testing, stakeholder reviews, and customer sign-offs while ensuring deliverables meet agreed standards.

Monitor program health through KPIs and reporting, providing concise updates and actionable insights to executive sponsors and leadership teams.

Support value realization by helping define business cases, ROI measures,



and data-driven metrics for assessing the achievement of customer outcomes.

Identify opportunities to expand the technology footprint within customer accounts and collaborate with account teams on strategic growth opportunities.

Handle escalations and difficult conversations professionally, resolving issues while maintaining solid customer and team relationships.

Mentor and guide junior team members while continuously improving delivery practices, methodologies, and team effectiveness.

Requirements

10+ years of experience in project and program management, particularly delivering engagements for external clients within a consulting or professional services environment.

7+ years of experience managing technology engagements, with strong experience delivering complex enterprise implementations.

5+ years of experience supporting the Public Sector sector within qualified services is strongly preferred.

Proven experience leading large-scale transformation engagements, including work with government or federal-level clients.

Demonstrated ability to manage large project teams of up to 75+ people, substantial budgets, complex schedules, and multiple workstreams.

Solid financial and commercial management skills, including experience overseeing programs with budgets of at least $15 million.

Ability to translate business and technical requirements into realistic project plans, estimates, delivery milestones, and actionable outcomes.

Solid understanding of enterprise technology implementation, program governance, risk management, organizational change, and delivery methodologies.

Excellent executive-level communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build credibility and trusted partnerships with senior customers.

Proven ability to lead high-impact client workshops, tailor messaging to different audiences, and communicate complex information clearly.

Confidence handling difficult conversations, escalations, competing priorities, and high-pressure situations.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and hold internal and external teams accountable within a matrixed organization.

Experience defining and tracking KPIs,



program health metrics, business cases, and ROI/value realization measures.

Relevant platform certifications are strongly preferred; additional AI-focused platform credentials are a plus.

Ability to travel regionally and occasionally internationally based on customer requirements.

Willingness and eligibility to obtain and maintain Canadian Government Security Clearance.

For Reliability Clearance, candidates should generally be able to provide five years of verifiable work and residence history, primarily within Canada.

For Secret Clearance, candidates should generally be able to provide ten years of verifiable work and residence history, primarily within Canada.

Strong written and verbal communication, organization, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Competitive base salary of CAD 133,200–183,200 annually for roles based in Ontario or British Columbia.
