English Language Educator / ESL Instructor (Part-Time / Casual)

What You’ll Do

- Interactive Teaching: Lead lively, engaging lessons that emphasize active practice and communication over rigid lecturing.
- Tailored Instruction: Adapt learning strategies to suit individual student needs and learning styles.
- Academic & Exam Prep: Help students prepare for standardized English proficiency exams (IELTS, TEFL, etc.) and assist with academic writing, projects, and presentations.

What We’re Looking For
- Certification: TESL, TESOL, CELTA, or an equivalent certification (Required).
- Communication: Exceptional English verbal and written communication skills.
- Work Eligibility: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Location: Based in or near Kitchener,



Waterloo, or Cambridge.
- Experience: Prior experience in tutoring, classroom teaching, or academic mentoring is preferred.

Compensation & Schedule
- Pay Range: CA$22.50 – CA$26.66 / hour (tiered based on class size):
- 1-on-1 Instruction: $22.50 / hour
- 2-Student Classes: $24.00 / hour
- Group Classes (3–7 students): ~$26.66 / hour (Group sessions usually run ~90 minutes)
- Scheduling: Versatile working hours. Note: Instructors must be able to complete all 10 sessions of a course block once assigned.
