About the Team
Penn Interactive is looking for a passionate Events Specialist to join our Marketing team!
The Events
Specialist will assist the Events Manager in planning and executing best-in-class events and player engagement experiences that align with our broader business goals, with a focus on increasing customer lifetime value through meaningful engagement, exceptional player experiences, word-of-mouth advocacy, and industry-leading retention, while also supporting opportunities to drive new user acquisition.
The Events Specialist will support the planning and day-to-day execution of PENN Interactive events, including event logistics, guest list management, ticket distribution, food & beverage planning, travel and accommodations, and coordination with internal teams, vendors, and external partners. The role will also provide hands-on, boots-on-the-ground support at events to ensure seamless execution and an elevated player experience. Additionally, this role will oversee merchandise inventory and provide administrative support to ensure events are thoughtfully planned, organized, and executed to a high standard.
The Events Specialist is highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven, with strong interpersonal and analytical skills and a passion for creating memorable experiences for our top players. Success in this role requires the ability to manage multiple priorities, anticipate event needs, and help deliver seamless, elevated experiences that strengthen player relationships, drive retention, and support broader business growth.
About the Work
- Assist the Events Manager with the planning, coordination, and execution of PENN Interactive events and player experiences, ensuring events are organized, on brand, and aligned with business objectives.
- Maintain event databases, budgets, calendars, reports, booking records, and other event-related documentation.
- Assist with event logistics, including ticket distribution, guest lists, seating charts, food & beverage selections and quantities, travel and accommodations, vendor coordination,
and other event needs.
- Provide hands-on, boots-on-the-ground support at events, including setup, staffing, guest experience, troubleshooting, vendor support, and breakdown.
- Assist with the shipment, delivery, tracking, and inventory of event supplies, merchandise, swag, and branded materials, including sourcing promotional items as needed.
- Assist with maintaining relationships with internal teams, property stakeholders, vendors, venues, and other external partners throughout the planning and execution process.
- Collaborate with Compliance and other internal teams to ensure event and vendor requirements are met.
- Provide ad hoc support for activations and experiential marketing programs, including planning and on-site execution as needed.
- Assist with researching event opportunities and gathering information to support planning and recommendations from the Events Manager.
- Assist with event reporting, spend tracking, ROI analysis, and post-event recaps to help identify opportunities for improvement.
- Manage multiple events and projects while adapting to changing priorities, deadlines, and business needs.
- Travel approximately 50% of the time, including on-site support for events.
- Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
Travel & Location Requirements
- This position is expected to travel 50% of the time. This includes nights, weekends and holidays at times.
- This person must be located within 100 Miles (161 Kilometers) of an office site either Cherry Hill, NJ, Philadelphia, PA or Toronto, ON

About You
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) in hospitality, tourism, marketing, PR, business administration, or related field
- This position is expected to travel up to 50% of the time, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
- 3-5 years of experience managing and attending events, activations, sponsorships, or experiential marketing programs.
- Budget management experience a must
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a quick-paced environment
- High energy and an Entrepreneurial spirit
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
- Excellent analytical and time-management skills
- Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds
- MUST HAVE: Passion for sports, casino and/or sports & casino betting.
