Job Summary

Luxuria Homes is looking for a Excavator Operator to join our rapidly growing team. The Excavator Operator will be a collaborative team player who will work alongside our construction team to safely and efficiently complete tasks as assigned.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

- Effectively and safely operate excavator to complete all necessary tasks in a timely manner as directed by Project Manager or Site Supervisor
- Conduct routine inspection and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.
- Complete adjustments and repairs to equipment as required
- Ensure work is completed to job specifications by observing grade stakes, material levels, hand signals, and other markers
- Transports materials around the job sites
- Perform other related duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications





- A minimum of two years of experience working as an excavator role or in a related field with basement excavation experience.
- Previous experience working on residential homes preferred.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Strong understanding of excavation procedures, techniques and health and safety requirements
- Ability to follow instructions and read and interpret blueprint and read excavation plans
- Strong communication skills (verbal and non-verbal)
- Good hand-eye-foot coordination and sense of balance
- Physical dexterity to handle kneeling, crouching, crawling, and sitting in one area for prolonged periods of time
- Demonstrated attention to detail and the ability to follow directions
- Excellent problem-solving and mechanical skills
