Executive Assistant The Original Bug Shirt Company is looking for an exceptional Executive Assistant to work directly with the President of our company.

This is not an entry-level administrative position. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced workplace, enjoys solving problems, and takes pride in getting the details right the first time.

Position Type: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Location: Powassan, Ontario

What You'll Be Doing

- Working directly with the President to help manage the day-to-day operations of the business.
- Providing outstanding customer service by phone and email.
- Processing customer orders, exchanges, and returns.
- Managing and updating information in Shopify.
- Working within QuickBooks Online.
- Preparing shipping documentation using ClickShip and courier platforms.
- Using our Katana ERP system to manage inventory and production-related tasks.
- Coordinating with our office and production teams to ensure orders move smoothly.
- Assisting with general office administration and special projects as required.

The Ideal Candidate

You are someone who

- Has experience with Shopify, QuickBooks Online, ClickShip, and preferably Katana ERP.
- Learns new software quickly and enjoys technology.
- Has exceptional customer service skills and genuinely enjoys helping people.
- Can pivot quickly when priorities change.
- Thrives under pressure, especially during our busy season.
- Has exceptional attention to detail and takes pride in accuracy.
- Keeps organized notes and follows through on commitments.
- Is highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Communicates professionally and confidently with customers and coworkers.
- Is dependable, self-motivated, and takes initiative.
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and discretion when handling confidential company and employee information.
