Ciena offers an exciting opportunity for an NPI Program Manager to spearhead the launch of pioneering optical products into production. You will play a key role in managing the entire product introduction lifecycle.
As part of the Optical Modem NPI and LCM Engineering team, your responsibilities will include collaboration with R&D; and production teams to ensure the successful transition from concept to mass production. You’ll need to navigate key project milestones and manage potential risks effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct cross-functional R&D; and Operations Engineering projects
• Establish and track project milestones and deliverables
• Review project plans and communicate updates to the team
• Manage proto builds in Ciena’s Lab and with manufacturers
• Collaborate with production operations for a smooth ramp-up
Requirements:
• Bachelor/Master’s degree in Engineering disciplines
• 3-5 years of project management experience
• Exceptional problem-solving and organizational skills
• Robust communication abilities
• Capable of managing multiple concurrent projects
