Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including floors, windows, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely to complete tasks efficiently and effectively
- Conduct custodial duties such as trash removal, restocking supplies, and disinfecting surfaces to maintain hygiene standards
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks like minor repairs or reporting issues requiring specialized attention
- Use excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and respond promptly to cleaning requests or concerns
- Manage time effectively to complete daily cleaning schedules while maintaining flexibility for urgent or special cleaning projects
- Lift heavy objects safely when moving furniture, equipment, or supplies as needed
Experience
- Proven custodial or commercial cleaning experience with a solid understanding of cleaning procedures and safety protocols
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and basic facilities maintenance equipment
- Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service by addressing client needs professionally and courteously
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout the workday
- Physical capability for heavy lifting and extended periods of standing, walking, or bending during cleaning routines
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and reporting maintenance issues promptly
