At GSM Contracting Inc. we build custom homes and additions, renovate full homes, build detached garages, and more! Established in 2010, we strive to work meticulously and with integrity in order to provide high-quality results in all of our projects.

We are looking for an experienced finishing carpenter to join our team.

The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 4 years of experience in the following:

- Kitchen and cabinetry installations
- Trim carpentry
- Flooring (hardwood, vinyl, etc.)
- Tile
- Drywall
- Painting
- Installing plumbing fixtures
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute finish carpentry tasks
- Apply construction painting techniques to enhance finishes and protect surfaces
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely and efficiently
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install siding, flooring, tile, and other building materials with attention to detail
- Assist with plumbing, electrical wiring, or HVAC rough-ins as needed for finish work integration
- Maintain a clean and secure work environment by following all safety protocols and procedures

- Excellent time management skills

- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights or in confined spaces
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and quality assurance
- Minimum G class license
- Own transportation
- Supply own finishing tools
- Able to work 5 days a week
- Able to work 10-hour days
- Speak fluent English
