Atlantic Security Automation Partners (ASAP) is a growing electronic security and automation company serving commercial, institutional, industrial, and residential customers throughout Atlantic Canada.

We are currently looking for an experienced Security Systems Technician to join our Halifax/Dartmouth team.

This position is best suited for a technician who already has solid hands-on industry experience and is comfortable working independently on installation, service, troubleshooting, programming, and commissioning of electronic security systems.

- Other low-voltage electronic security systems

The successful candidate should be comfortable attending customer sites independently, diagnosing system problems, completing repairs, installing new equipment, programming systems, performing testing, and communicating professionally with customers. Some projects may require travel within Nova Scotia and occasionally elsewhere in Atlantic Canada, including overnight stays.

Manufacturer-specific experience is helpful, but we recognize that experienced technicians may have worked with different product lines.

Strong troubleshooting ability, industry experience, reliability, and willingness to learn are more important than familiarity with every system we currently install.
