We are currently looking for a reliable, hardworking experienced Shingler to join our team. We are hiring immediately, with work starting Thursday, August 13, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Install asphalt shingles on residential and commercial roofing projects
- Remove existing shingles and roofing materials
- Install underlayment, ice & water shield, flashing, vents, and related roofing components
- Complete roof repairs and replacement work as required
- Maintain a clean and safe worksite
- Follow proper roofing procedures and safety practices
- Work efficiently as part of a roofing crew
- Ensure finished work meets Norris Roofing’s quality standards
Requirements
- Must have 5 years or more experience
- Significant experience with Roofing nail gun
- Ability to install closed shingle valley
- Ability to install open metal valley
- Ability to install step flashing or other flashing
- Ability to install chimney flashing
- Previous shingling experience
- Ability to safely work at heights and on ladders
- Physically capable of lifting roofing materials and working outdoors
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Commitment to quality workmanship and job-site safety
