Experienced Warehouse Lead –– Metro Vancouver The Company:

The Chance:

HTF is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Warehouse Lead to join its small branch team in its Metro Vancouver distribution center. This position is a hands-on role responsible for all operational functions of the warehouse: fulfillment/picking of customer orders, shipping, receiving, quality and inventory control. This position requires a strong commitment to safety and quality, as well as the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. This position currently reports to a single onsite location in Richmond, BC but will be relocating in January 2027 to the Fraser Valley area. This position reports to the Branch Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Picking:

· Perform order picking using RF scanners and other tools to ensure accurate fulfillment of customer orders

· Assist with stocking and processing of inbound inventory receipts

· Complete production orders for customer specified kits

· Perform regular stock checks and reporting/recording discrepancies

Shipping:

· Master all shipping functions for customer orders, both domestic, international and customer pickups

· Prepare shipping documents, including bills of lading, shipping labels, and customs paperwork as required

· Use integrated third party (FedEx and UPS, Ship Manager, Purolator, etc.) software, plus other carrier websites to process shipments,



obtain freight quotes, and track shipments

· Ensure orders are shipped accurately (in accordance with customer shipping instructions/shipped to the correct customer) and packed for safe transit

· Ensure timely shipment of all orders scheduled to ship each day

· Work closely with Sales and Customer Service on the handling of expedited customer orders and customer issues

General Duties and Responsibilities:

· Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area

· Assist in maintaining the safety of the warehouse

· Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety by complying with WSIB standards and regulations

Skills and Key Competencies:

· Experience with order picking and scaling processes and shipping & receiving protocols.

· Proficiency in using ERP Inventory management systems/software

- Ability to operate an RF scanner for efficient inventory management
- Ability to effectively work both independently and as part of a team
- Basic math skills for inventory management and order processing
- Positive communication skills
- Must be comfortable and proficient with technology and the ability to work with multiple software applications
- Be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time
- · Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must be ready to start work on-time daily and maintain a pattern of strong attendance
- Proven ability to consistently and independently follow policies and procedures, instructions, and meet required schedules and deadlines

Education and Qualifications: · Must have a minimum of five (5)



years of prior experience in warehouse or distribution center

· High School Diploma or GED required

· Possess a strong understanding of warehouse practices in a distribution workplace

· Excellent communication skills; fluency in English, both written and verbal, is required

· Fork-lift (high bay reach) certification is preferred

· Legally eligible to work in Canada
