Dahrouge Geological Consulting Ltd. is a mineral exploration and geological consulting company supporting exploration and mining projects across Canada and internationally. Our teams provide geological, technical, operational, and project management support across multiple commodities and stages of exploration.

As we continue to grow our Québec operations, we are looking to connect with geologists at different stages of their careers — from newly graduated Geologists-in-Training (GITs) looking to build their field experience to experienced P.Geos ready to take on greater technical and project responsibilities.

Role Description

We are looking for Exploration Geologists to join our Québec team and support a variety of mineral exploration programs.

Depending on your level of experience, responsibilities may include:

- Geological and geotechnical core logging
- Sampling and implementation of QA/QC procedures
- Geological mapping and prospecting
- Drill program support and supervision
- Geological, structural and geochemical interpretation
- Preparation of maps, cross-sections and technical documentation
- Data compilation, validation and interpretation
- Supporting exploration targeting and project planning
- Supervising and mentoring junior geological personnel
- Working closely with Project Managers and multidisciplinary exploration teams

Positions may involve a combination of office and field-based work, including travel to remote project locations throughout Québec and elsewhere in Canada.





Who We’re Looking For

We are interested in candidates across a broad range of experience levels, including:

- Recent geology graduates and GITs with limited or no professional exploration experience
- GITs with field, core logging, mapping or drilling experience
- P.Geos with several years of mineral exploration experience
- Experienced geologists capable of supervising programs, mentoring junior staff and contributing to technical and project-level decisions

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Geology, Earth Sciences, Geological Engineering or a related discipline
- Eligibility for registration with the Ordre des géologues du Québec (OGQ), or current GIT/P.Geo. status, where applicable
- Solid interest in mineral exploration and field geology
- Ability to work safely and effectively as part of a team
- Willingness to travel and work in remote field environments when required
- Good communication, organizational and problem-solving skills

Previous experience in core logging, geological mapping, drilling, sampling, QA/QC, GIS or geological software is an asset but is not required for entry-level candidates . For more experienced candidates, demonstrated experience in geological interpretation, drill program supervision, project execution and team leadership will be considered an asset.
