We are looking for a Sales Representative based out of our Edmonton office works closely with supplier partners and customer service to become the customer’s trusted advisor. The role focuses on developing new business by delivering technical solutions that improve productivity, quality, and overall operating costs. This position is responsible for growing sales and market share of fabrication tooling, welding products and related industrial consumables within an assigned territory

Key Responsibilities

· Identify and develop new fabrication and welding customers.

· Prospect fabrication shops, structural steel companies, manufacturers, maintenance departments, and industrial contractors.

· Generate current opportunities through cold calls, referrals, site visits, and networking.

· Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.

· Conduct regular customer visits and business reviews.

· Identify opportunities to expand product categories.

· Recommend the proper products and applications





· Conduct product demonstrations and field trials.

· Work with supplier specialists when required.

· Prepare annual territory plans.

· Manage customer opportunities using CRM.

· Forecast sales.

· Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.

· Reduce customer operating costs.

· Improve productivity and process efficiency.

· Recommend inventory management solutions.

· Promote vendor-managed inventory and stocking programs where appropriate.

· Coordinate supplier visits.

· Participate in joint sales calls.

· Attend supplier training sessions.

· Launch new products and promotions.

Qualifications

Required:

· Over 3 years of experience in fabrication, welding, industrial supply, or metalworking

· Strong communication and presentation skills

· Valid Drivers license

· Able to travel throughout assigned territory

Preferred:

· Welding background

· Technical diploma or trades experience

· Knowledge of fabrication processes

· Industrial distribution experience.
