Position Summary The Facility Assistant supports the daily upkeep, cleanliness, and event readiness of the Club. This role ensures that all our public areas, washrooms, and event spaces are clean, organized, and properly prepared for guests, members, and staff. The Facility Assistant also assists with basic building maintenance and mild general caretaking duties.

Key Responsibilities

Cleaning & Facility Upkeep

- Clean and sanitize washrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, floors, and fixtures
- Restock washroom supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
- Perform general cleaning of facility areas including hallways, entryways, and common spaces
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust as required
- Remove garbage and recycling from facility areas and replace liners
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for guests and staff

Event Set-Up & Tear-Down

- Assist with event room set-up, including tables, chairs, linens, and equipment
- Arrange furniture according to event layouts and diagrams
- Assist with event tear-down and room reset following functions
- Ensure event spaces are clean and ready for the next use





Basic Building Caretaking
- Perform light facility maintenance such as replacing light bulbs or reporting maintenance needs
- Monitor facility condition and report repairs or safety concerns to management
- Assist with seasonal tasks such as outdoor tidying or minor upkeep
- Support other departments when needed to maintain smooth facility operations

Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including comfortably lifting 30lbs+, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to cleanliness and detail
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Previous cleaning or facility maintenance experience is an asset but not required

Work Setting
- Indoor facility work with occasional outdoor tasks
- Early Mornings, afternoons, weekends & holidays required

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal Pay: $18.60-$20.00 per hour
