We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Administrator to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, with support and training from the Finance Director, you will oversee financial processes, maintain accurate records, and support the overall financial health of the organization. Your energetic approach will help ensure smooth financial operations, facilitate reporting, and contribute to strategic decision-making.

This would be a permanent contracted position; rate of pay is negotiable pending skill/years of experience. Expected availability is 1 - 3 days per week pending time of year and training requirements.
Hours can be flexible.
Duties
- Manage and process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently using specialized financial software.
- Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial records to ensure data integrity.
- Prepare detailed financial reports, summaries, and documentation for management review.
- Assist with budgeting processes by monitoring expenses and tracking financial performance against targets.
- Support audit activities by providing necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with internal controls.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline financial workflows and improve overall efficiency.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial regulations and best practices to ensure compliance at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with financial software systems (QuickBooks Pro),
demonstrating proficiency in managing financial data.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail in record keeping and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration across teams.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial regulations relevant to the organization’s operations.
- A diploma in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
