Position Summary The Analyst, Finance (“FA”) will join Brookfield Asset Management’s (BAM,

NYSE/TSX) Global Finance Team, responsible for Financial Planning and Analysis

(FP&A;”) and Financial Reporting for BAM, and report to the VP, Finance, FP&A.;

Located in our head office in Downtown Toronto, the FA role is a highly visible position that provides a solid foundation and exposure to a progressive and dynamic career with a leading global asset management firm. This role will have a primary focus on Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A;),

supporting BAM’s business planning, forecasting, and non-GAAP reporting activities. The Analyst will gain meaningful exposure to business performance and financial analysis and reporting. In addition to its core FP&A; responsibilities, the role will also support BAM’s

Financial Reporting team, including but not limited to preparation of consolidated financial statements and GAAP financial reporting processes. This combination provides the Analyst with a broad understanding of both forward-looking financial planning and external financial reporting. The Analyst will also have opportunities to support ad hoc initiatives across investor relations, treasury, and capital markets, providing further exposure to BAM’s broader corporate finance activities.

Responsibilities Financial Planning and Analysis Responsibilities Assist in preparation of quarterly consolidated financial forecasts for senior management,



tracking global operating results of subsidiaries and articulating these results to key stakeholders Analyze actual results against budget, forecast and prior periods, identifying the operational and financial drivers behind significant variances Assist as needed with due diligence related to refinancing, ad-hoc analyses and presentations on financial and operating results, investor queries and special projects Support the annual budget and longer-term planning processes Maintain financial models covering revenue, operating expenses, headcount, and others Financial Reporting Responsibilities Assist in preparing consolidated financial statements, MD&A; and any other public documents on a quarterly and annual basis Coordinate with operating business groups and review each business group submission Prepare financial reporting note disclosure support and any other reporting schedules on a consolidated basis Support internal and external audit teams in relation to quarterly reviews, the annual audit and SOX compliance Assist in preparing quarterly management reporting packages, dashboards and financial presentations General Responsibilities Collaborate regularly with operating business groups and various Brookfield departments Continuously look for efficiency in our processes, tools and reports and make suggestions to implement these into our framework Participate as a Finance team member in the implementation and ongoing development of ERP system used across the finance function and other financial tools Stay curious about developments in financial technology,



analytics and AI and help the team assess practical use cases Participate in other Finance transformation, systems implementation and process-improvement projects Qualifications &

Requirements University degree in Business or Finance 1-3 years of progressive work experience in finance, public accounting, accounting functions, or a related field Solid financial systems experience, including advanced Excel skills, experience integrating Excel with AI, VBA, Macros, considered a strong asset Leadership and interpersonal skills, a willingness to always support the team Highly organized and able to work in a dynamic, complex and fast-paced environment, as well as adapt quickly to manage changing priorities and deadlines Strong communication skills, can work effectively with all levels and departments within a complex organization Self-motivated and pro-active, with respect to both managing workload and professional development Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle HFM, OneStream and Workiva is an asset Completed or working towards completion of recognized professional accounting designation (CPA) Salary Range: $75,000 - $90,000 CAD Position Opening Reason: New Position Brookfield is committed to maintaining a Positive Work Environment that is safe and respectful; our shared success depends on it.
