Role Description The Financial Analyst role at The Ervin Group is a part-time, remote position focused on supporting financial decision-making for the studio’s projects and operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing project budgets, reviewing financial statements, and preparing regular financial reports for leadership. The role involves monitoring actuals against forecasts, identifying variances, and providing insights to support resource allocation and profitability.

The Financial

Analyst will also assist with financial planning activities, including scenario modeling, cash flow projections,



and project-based profitability analyses. Collaboration with operations, project management, and leadership teams is expected to ensure financial data is accurate, timely, and actionable.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Finance and Analytical Skills to interpret data and support sound decision-making.
- Candidates should possess Financial Planning experience, including budgeting, forecasting, and modeling.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Financial Statements and Financial Reporting to prepare and review monthly and quarterly reports.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in spreadsheet tools and financial software (e.g., Excel, accounting or ERP systems).
- Candidates should possess excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.
- Candidates should possess clear written and verbal communication skills for presenting insights to non-financial stakeholders.
- Relevant education such as a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is beneficial; experience in project-based or professional services environments is a plus.
