Our client, a highly respected law firm, is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant to join their team.ResponsibilitiesProvide administrative support to lawyers within the litigation groupDraft, format, and revise legal documents including pleadings, correspondence, and court materialsCoordinate service and filing of court documents through Ontario courts and e-filing systemsMaintain and organize electronic and physical filesManage calendars, including scheduling meetings, discoveries, and court datesTrack limitation periods and ensure key deadlines are metPrepare document briefs, motion materials, and assist with trial preparationCommunicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court staffHandle general administrative tasks including scanning, filing,



and document managementRequirementsMinimum 3+ years of experience as a legal assistant in civil or commercial litigationStrong understanding of Ontario court procedures and rulesExcellent document formatting and proofreading skillsHighly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple prioritiesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamProficiency with Microsoft Office and legal document management systemsCompensationSalary $70,000Hybrid work model (3 days in office, downtown Toronto)Comprehensive benefits packageSupportive and team-oriented team environment with opportunities for growth within the litigation practice.We do not use AI to screen candidates.
