Transportation and Logistics Manager (NOC 10012)

Job Details

- Wage: $90,480 – $120,640 per year (to be negotiated)
- Hours: 30–40 hours per week
- Experience: 2 to less than 3 years of relevant logistics, transportation, or warehouse management experience
- Work Setting: Warehouse and transportation operations environment
- Security and Safety: Valid driver’s licence required; Driver’s licence verification and driving abstract required
- Who Can Apply: Canadian citizens and permanent residents of Canada; Other candidates with or without a valid Canadian work permit

Responsibilities

- Arrange shipping documentation
- Oversee tracking and tracing of goods in transit
- Manage fuel consumption and distance travelled
- Ensure transport operations comply with applicable regulations and standards
- Establish and implement policies and procedures for transportation and storage of goods
- Evaluate and manage daily logistics and warehouse operations
- Manage hours of service
- Organize and maintain inventory control systems
- Oversee scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and shipments
- Plan and organize operational workflows to ensure efficiency and compliance




- Prepare detailed reports for senior management on performance and operational metrics
- Record and monitor cargo information
- Supervise 1–2 team members
