Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Flooring Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for engaging with clients, providing expert guidance on flooring options, and driving sales through exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a solid understanding of sales techniques, and familiarity with flooring products and renovation projects.

Responsibilities

- Engage with customers to understand their flooring needs and provide tailored solutions
- Assist clients with selections
- Develop and maintain customer accounts, ensuring excellent customer service throughout the sales cycle
- Ensure displays are attractive and well-organized
- Support marketing efforts by promoting current products and special promotions




- Maintain organized records of sales activities and customer interactions

Experience

- Proven experience in outside or retail sales, preferably in flooring, renovation, or construction industries
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to upsell products effectively
- Knowledge of SketchUp, CAD, or similar design tools is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills
- Background in design or sales is preferred
- Ability to understand basic math for measurements, pricing calculations, and inventory management
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple client accounts and sales activities efficiently
