Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Flooring Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing a variety of flooring materials, ensuring exact craftsmanship and adherence to project specifications. Your expertise will help transform spaces, creating beautiful and durable floors that meet our high standards of quality.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential to commercial, utilizing your skills in construction and finishing techniques.

Responsibilities

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute flooring installations.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary underlayments or adhesives.
- Install various flooring materials such as hardwood, laminate, tile, vinyl, and carpet with precision and care.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively to cut, shape, and secure flooring components.
- Perform related tasks including caulking, concrete finishing, masonry work, or carpentry as needed for seamless integration.




- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure timely completion of projects within specifications.
- Maintain a clean work environment, follow safety protocols, and inspect completed work for quality assurance.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in flooring installation or related construction fields such as carpentry or masonry.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings confidently.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, concrete forming equipment, and heavy machinery operation.
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes and project planning is a plus.
- Familiarity with other trades including plumbing, electrical systems, restoration work, or cabinet installation is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform demanding manual tasks in various environments.
