Duties

- Prepare and assemble food items efficiently according to established recipes and standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, accurately handling cash, credit card transactions, and receipts
- Provide friendly customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance the customer experience
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, counters, and food handling areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and minimize wait times
- Handle cash transactions accurately,



including cash handling and balancing cash registers at shift end
- Assist with food storage, inventory management, and restocking supplies as needed

Experience

- Previous food service experience or restaurant background preferred but not required; training provided for motivated candidates
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and safe food handling practices in the food industry
- Experience using POS systems such as Micros POS or similar point-of-sale technology
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and order calculations
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and food safety regulations to ensure a hygienic environment
- Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting
- Kitchen or food industry experience is an asset; enthusiasm for serving others is essential
