Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with menu selections, upselling popular items to enhance their experience
- Prepare and serve food items according to safety and quality standards, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation at all times
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to accurately process orders and payments
- Handle cash transactions efficiently, giving correct change and balancing cash drawers at shift end
- Maintain proper food handling procedures, adhering to food safety regulations and sanitation guidelines
- Manage time effectively during busy hours to ensure prompt service and minimize wait times
- Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks when needed, contributing to smooth restaurant operations
Requirements
- Previous food service experience or restaurant background is highly preferred; familiarity with serving and cashiering is a plus
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for order processing
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters positive guest interactions
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly and confidently
- Understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
- Kitchen experience or food industry knowledge is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
