Team Manager

Summary

The Forklift Operator utilizes forklifts or tractors equipped to move materials around the manufacturing plant, storage yard, or similar locations. Responsibilities include moving Meridian products, loading and unloading trucks, moving items as part of minor maintenance work, supporting control measures with proper inventory documentation, and adhering to safety compliance regulations.

Job Duties

- Operate lifting devices such as forklifts, hoists, elevating platforms, lift beams and swivel hooks
- Manually load and unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, racks and lifting devices
- Accurately ship and receive products
- Support inventory control with accurate documentation
- Complete time sheets




- Follow all workplace safety policies and compliance regulations
- Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and auxiliary equipment
- Accurately weigh and document materials
- Provide production data on tags or labels
- Move production materials to required areas
- Perform other duties as needed or assigned

Requirements

- High School diploma, GED or equivalent
- Forklift Safety Training certificate
- Experience with routine maintenance operations
- Flexibility and solid interpersonal skills to effectively work in a diverse working environment
- Effective verbal and written English communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong attention to details
- Ability to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically and professionally at all times
- Professional appearance and manners
- Robust work ethics and a positive team attitude
- Physical ability to lift up to 45 lbs

Working Conditions

- Use of desktop computer and peripherals
- Overtime as required
- Exposure to construction sites
