Role
Apply and refine deep learning models for mining operations
Split time between applied ML (60%) and foundational ML research (40%)
Train and evaluate custom neural networks in PyTorch
Preprocess and analyze spatial and temporal data
Build pipelines and evaluation tools
Track and monitor model performance over time
Present results and explain concepts to geologists and business teams
Requirements
2+ years industry ML experience
Proficiency with PyTorch and custom neural network design
Solid data analysis and visualization skills
Ability to communicate complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders
Self-driven and independent problem solver
Nice to Have
Mining or geospatial data experience
Background in resource modeling or geological sciences
