Role Description

Altevere is looking for a Fractional CFO to serve as the strategic financial partner to one or more client companies. This is a contract, remote role for a finance leader who wants ownership over the numbers and a direct seat at the leadership table, without the full-time commitment.

You will lead the finance team. You will own budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning and analysis for your client companies. You will design and run financial reporting frameworks, translate results into decisions, and advise on profitability, capital structure, and risk management.

Day to day, you will work alongside CEOs and leadership teams to shape financial strategy,



put real financial controls in place, and optimize working capital, often working in tandem with the bookkeeping layer Altevere also provides, so the numbers are clean from the ground up.

Qualifications

- CPA, CA, or equivalent accounting designation
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a full time CFO
- Proven track record in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning & analysis
- Comfortable working as an independent contractor, directly with CEOs and leadership teams in a remote capacity
- Experience with SMEs preferred
