Rodd Moncton Hotel is looking for a friendly, professional, and service-oriented individual to join our Front Desk Team. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to creating a welcoming and memorable experience for guests.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Welcome, register, and assist guests in a courteous and efficient manner while following Rodd Hotels & Resorts Standards
- Provide exceptional guest service and respond promptly and professionally to guest questions, requests, and concerns
- Accept, confirm, modify, and cancel reservations while communicating relevant information to other hotel departments
- Maintain accurate guest accounts and follow established guest credit and payment procedures
- Maximize room revenue by identifying opportunities to recommend room types, rates, packages, and hotel services
- Maintain a robust knowledge of the hotel, amenities, packages, events, local attractions, and other Rodd properties
- Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Maintain Front Desk supplies and equipment and ensure the work area remains organized and professional




- Respond appropriately to emergency situations in accordance with hotel procedures
- Complete other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors or management

KEY QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Positive, professional attitude and a genuine enjoyment of working with people
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities
- Comfortable using computers and adaptable to use new software; knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is an asset
- Bilingualism in English and French is considered an asset but is not required
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
