FRONT DESK & MEMBERSHIP SALES ASSOCIATE

Bora Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu | Hamilton, Ontario

Part-time | 16–20 hours per week

Bora BJJ is looking for a friendly, organized and reliable person to join our team at the front desk.

This is an active customer-service and sales position. You will be responsible for welcoming members and new families, helping prospective students choose and purchase memberships, processing payments and keeping the front desk running smoothly.

Responsibilities

- Greet members, parents and trial students warmly
- Explain our programs, schedules, pricing and membership options
- Help prospective members complete their enrollment
- Process membership, uniform and event payments
- Respond to emails and follow up with trial students
- Prepare new students for class, including waivers, gym tours and uniform

fittings
- Update member profiles, payments and notes in our computer systems
- Communicate important information to coaches and management
- Keep the front desk, waiting area and other common areas clean and

organized Complete light cleaning duties throughout the shift

- Comfortable using computers, email, tablets and online software
- Explicit and professional communication skills
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
- Calm and professional when handling questions or concerns

- Strong attention to detail
- Previous customer service, reception or sales experience is an asset
- Knowledge of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is helpful but not required

Hours This is a part-time position offering approximately 16–20 hours per week.

Availability during afternoon and evening class times is required. Some Saturday availability may also be needed.

Hamilton. We aim to provide a welcoming, professional and organized experience from the moment someone walks through the door.

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
