ABOUT US
Rue Saint-Patrick is a Montreal apparel brand. We sell direct to customers online and we supply some of the biggest retail chains in Canada. Everything ships out of our Montreal warehouse, and the team that runs it is small, tight, and takes a lot of pride in getting orders out clean and on time.
Fall is our biggest stretch of the year. Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and the Christmas run put real volume through the building, and we're bringing on extra hands to make sure every order goes out right.
THE ROLE
This is a seasonal position running from now through January 30, 2027. You'll be on the floor with our fulfillment team, picking, packing, and shipping orders for both our online customers and our wholesale accounts.
We're not looking for someone who needs to be walked through the basics. We want someone who has done this before, knows how a pick list works, and can hold their pace when the queue is deep without letting accuracy slip.
Alongside picking and packing, there's occasional general warehouse work — restocking bins, moving and breaking down cartons, and helping put away incoming inventory. It's a physical job and everyone on the floor pitches in.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Picking and packing DTC and wholesale orders accurately and on schedule
- Receiving incoming inventory, checking it against packing lists, and flagging discrepancies
- Labelling, scanning, and preparing shipments for carrier pickup
- Occasional general warehouse work — restocking bins, replenishing pick locations, moving cartons, and keeping bin locations accurate
- Supporting cycle counts and inventory checks
- Handling returns and processing them back into stock
- Keeping the warehouse clean, safe, and running the way it should
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- At least 2 years of hands-on fulfillment, warehouse, or distribution experience
- Accuracy under pressure — you'd rather scan it twice than ship the wrong item
- Comfortable on your feet for a full shift and able to lift boxes
- Reliable. Peak season only works if the whole team shows up
- Able to work a flexible schedule through November and December, including some longer days
- Works well with a small team and speaks up when something looks wrong
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience working in a Shopify-based fulfillment environment
- Background in fashion, apparel, or softlines
- Experience with barcode scanners or a WMS
- Experience shipping to major retail chains (EDI, routing guides, carton labelling)
WHY THIS ONE IS WORTH YOUR TIME We're a growing brand and the warehouse is the engine of the whole thing. Seasonal people who are strong, dependable, and easy to work with are the first ones we call when permanent roles open up. If you want to be somewhere your work is actually noticed, this is that kind of shop.
