This opportunity is entirely remote.

You can be based anywhere, however hours must overlap with Eastern time and need to attend meetings in EST. Preferably live in Canada and must speak fluent English.

You will report and work directly with our Development Lead, secondarily, our CEO.

Part-time as Contractor/Freelancer: 10 hours per week to start. We are growing, and we are looking for someone who wants to scale their hours up with us as we do. You have flexibility in when you work, but your hours must overlap with Eastern time so you can attend meetings and reply reasonably throughout the day.

As a Full Stack Developer at Mango Digital, you will work across both sides of our business: our software apps and our digital marketing agency.

On the apps side, your main responsibilities include developing new features for our live SaaS products, working across the customer-facing experience and the backend services behind it, and building integrations with third-party platforms, LLMs, and APIs.

On the agency side, you will build and maintain client websites and our own website, and you will own conversion tracking and technical SEO across those builds.

You will collaborate with the Development Lead on architecture and technical decisions. Our CEO sets the vision, product direction, cost-benefit, sales, and the overall strategy and direction of the company, and you will provide the technical read that informs those calls: whether something is feasible, what the workarounds are, and where the edge cases sit.

What You’ll Do

Build end-to-end (full stack) web applications that are consumer ready and retail focused.

Apps: ship new features on our live SaaS products, from the customer-facing experience through to the backend services behind it.

Apps: build and maintain integrations with third-party platforms, LLMs, and APIs.

Agency: build and maintain client websites, and our own website.

Agency: own conversion tracking and technical SEO across those builds.

Manage engineering pipeline and tickets across both sides of the business.

Write code to achieve required functionalities.





TypeScript.

React and Next.js, working comfortably inside an existing codebase.

SQL and Postgres.

Production API integrations, including webhooks, auth, and error handling.

LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic).

JSON data structures for communication between APIs and databases.

Vercel deployment.

AI coding tools where they speed the work up.

Set up GA4 and Google Tag Manager conversion tracking without support.

Apply technical SEO fundamentals: metadata, schema, indexing, and page speed.

Connect tracking back to Google and Meta ad campaigns, including offline conversion imports.

Provide insights and innovative ideas to produce recent features.

What You Bring

3+ years of experience in front-end and back-end web development, with live shipped projects.

Strong TypeScript with React/Next.js, and comfort working in an existing codebase rather than only greenfield.

Working knowledge of SQL and Postgres, and production API integration experience.

Real LLM API experience with OpenAI or Anthropic, on something you shipped.

AI native. AI tools are part of how you work every day, not something you tried once. You know where they make you faster and where they produce work you end up throwing away.

Ability to set up GA4 and Google Tag Manager conversion tracking unaided.

Knowledge of technical SEO basics: metadata, schema, indexing, page speed.

Enough exposure to Google or Meta ads to connect tracking to campaigns, including offline conversions.

Able to juggle multiple tasks, switching between different types of work without letting anything slip.

Proactive communication. You speak up early when something is blocked or delayed instead of going quiet.

End-to-end experience taking projects from a written spec to a fully tested,



delivered result on your own.

A habit of asking before building. If a ticket is ambiguous, we want the question rather than a confident guess.

Ability to explain a technical decision to a non-engineer.

We also build software. Our reviews app helps businesses collect, display, and manage their reviews. This role works across both sides of the business, which is part of what makes it interesting: you get product work and client work in the same week.
