The preferred candidate should be based in Canada, working in hours that align to ET (Eastern Timezone) or PT (Pacific Timezone). Build and maintain RESTful APIs using Restify/Node.js for platform integrations. Develop user-facing subscription management interfaces using React/Next.js.

Integrate with third-party platforms and subscription billing services. Manage user entitlements and access control across various platforms. Work across multiple codebases, including two back-end services, a front-end monorepo, and webhook handlers.

Write clean, testable code with comprehensive unit tests using Jest. Collaborate with staff engineers on system design and architectural improvements. Handle occasional on-call responsibilities for technical support.

Maintain and improve our subscription reconciliation processes. 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering ~ Bachelor's degree in computer science, or equivalent. ~ Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js development. ~ Senior-level experience with React.js and Next.js for front-end development. ~ Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs. ~ Familiarity with Firebase/Firestore or similar NoSQL databases. ~ Experience writing unit tests and maintaining code quality. ~ Knowledge of security best practices for handling user data.





Experience with AWS Lambda and serverless architectures. Familiarity with Recurly or similar subscription billing platforms. Familiarity with DataDog or similar monitoring tools.

Experience in digital consultancies or professional services is an asset. Understanding of entitlement management and access control systems. Work on systems that serve millions of sports fans worldwide.

Exposure to diverse platform integrations and technical challenges. Collaborative environment with clear code review and quality standards. $The salary range for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 CAD per year.
