Blue Heron Dental Centre is looking for a friendly, motivated, and patient-focused full-time Dental Hygienist to join our growing team.

About the Position The successful candidate will provide comprehensive dental hygiene services while educating patients on maintaining optimal oral health. This position is ideal for a hygienist who enjoys working in a supportive team environment and takes pride in delivering a positive patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide thorough dental hygiene assessments, treatments, and preventive care.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and individualized home-care recommendations.
- Review medical and dental histories and update patient records.
- Take and review radiographs as directed and in accordance with applicable standards.
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
- Work collaboratively with the dentist and dental team to support comprehensive patient care.
- Follow all infection prevention and control protocols and office policies.
- Create a welcoming and comfortable experience for patients of all ages.

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene program.
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario.
- Current CPR, IPAC and required certifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
- Previous dental office experience is an asset.
