We are looking for a Full Time RN 4-5 days a week to join our Family Practice clinic. Hours would be 9-5 no evenings, weekends or STATS.

Required Qualifications

- Current registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) in British Columbia and in valuable standing with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program with a Diploma in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN).
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Strong clinical assessment, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated ability to provide safe, evidence-informed, and patient-centered nursing care.
- Knowledge and experience with medication administration, injections, immunizations, wound care, and other routine nursing procedures within the RN’s scope of practice.
- Strong knowledge of infection prevention and control practices and patient safety standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to provide clear and compassionate patient education regarding medications, treatments, health conditions, preventative care, and follow-up.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple clinical responsibilities in a busy family practice.
- Ability to maintain accurate, timely, and confidential patient records and clinical documentation.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively to a collaborative primary care team.
- Registered Nurse — Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate,



and patient-centered nursing care to patients attending the clinic.
- Conduct nursing assessments, obtain patient histories, monitor vital signs, and identify changes in patients’ health status.
- Assist physicians and other healthcare providers with patient examinations, assessments, and treatments.
- Perform nursing procedures within the RN’s scope of practice and the clinic’s policies and procedures – all immunizations and vaccines for both adults and children, wart treatments, ear syringes, Holter Monitors, patient teaching, chronic disease management ect
- Educate patients and families regarding medications, treatments, health conditions, preventive care, and follow-up requirements.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and timely patient records and clinical documentation.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with patients, physicians, healthcare professionals, and other clinic staff.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with privacy legislation and clinic policies.
- Follow infection prevention and control practices, including proper cleaning, sterilization, and safe handling and disposal of medical supplies and sharps.
- Ensure medical equipment and supplies are properly maintained, stocked, and available for patient care.
- Maintain compliance with professional nursing standards, regulatory requirements, and evidence-based practices.
- Contribute to a positive, respectful, and collaborative clinic environment.
- Perform other related nursing and clinical duties as required.

Job Type: Part-time Pay: $38.00-$45.00 per hour
