Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC/R Technician to join our team in Mount Uniacke, NS. The successful candidate will beresponsible for installing, maintaining, and servicing heating, ventilation,and air conditioning systems in residential settings, ensuring qualityworkmanship and customer satisfaction. More importantly they will be the key person in helping grow our apprentice team.

Key Responsibilities

- Install,repair, and maintain HVAC systems including heat pumps, airconditioners, and ventilation systems
- Diagnoseequipment issues and perform troubleshooting and corrective repairs
- Installrefrigeration lines, ductwork, controls, and electrical components




- Decommissionand remove existing oil/gas equipment
- Providedetailed service reports, documentation, and recommendations
- Ensureall work meets provincial safety codes and manufacturer specifications
- Communicateclearly and professionally with customers
- Maintaintools, equipment, and company vehicle in excellent condition
- Followall company safety protocols and industry best practices

Required Qualifications

- RedSeal Refrigeration License recognized in Nova Scotia
- 3+Years of experience as a licensed installer of heat pumps or HVAC systems
- Valid Driver’sLicense with a clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Strongunderstanding of HVAC systems, refrigeration principles, and controls
- Abilityto interpret manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical documents
- Excellenttroubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Physicallycapable of lifting equipment and working in various indoor/outdoorenvironments
