Gardener / Handyman

Location: Property in Spruce Grove

Job Type: Part time (1–2 Days per Week)

Lady A Management Inc. is seeking an experienced, reliable, and hardworking

Gardener / Handyman to maintain and enhance a beautiful acreage property. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in creating and maintaining exceptional outdoor spaces while performing general, minor property maintenance. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a rural setting.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain gardens, flower beds, shrubs, trees, lawns, and landscaped areas to a high standard.
- Perform planting, pruning, weeding, fertilizing, mulching, watering, and seasonal garden maintenance.
- Operate and maintain landscaping, gardening, and property maintenance equipment safely and efficiently.
- Complete general handyman duties, including basic carpentry, painting, touch-ups, and minor repairs.
- Maintain and repair outdoor structures, including decks, fences, gates, sheds, pathways, and outdoor living spaces.
- Assist with landscape improvement projects and overall property enhancements.
- Perform seasonal property maintenance, including snow removal, leaf cleanup, and ice management.
- Monitor the condition of buildings, grounds, and infrastructure, identifying maintenance needs and addressing issues promptly.
- Assist with irrigation system maintenance and outdoor property infrastructure upkeep.




- Coordinate with contractors and service providers when specialized work is required.
- Respond to maintenance requests and property-related issues in a timely manner.
- Ensure the property remains clean, organized, safe, and professionally maintained at all times.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Minimum 2 years of gardening, landscaping, handyman, property maintenance, or related experience.
- Experience maintaining acreage, estate, or large residential properties is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of gardening, landscaping, irrigation systems, and general property maintenance.
- Ability to safely operate landscaping equipment, power tools, and maintenance machinery.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Physically capable of lifting, bending, climbing ladders, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required.
- Criminal record check required.
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
