As a General Accountant, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the financial heartbeat of our entertainment and hospitality operations runs smoothly. Reporting to the Assistant Controller, you’ll manage day-to-day accounting activities across multiple business lines — from events and food services to attractions. Essential Job Functions:

- Maintain accurate general ledger records and perform month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial schedules




- Support financial reporting and analysis for various departments (events, catering, amusement, attractions)
- Assist on ensuring compliance with ASPE and internal controls
- Support external audit and tax preparation activities
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow across venues and events as required
- Participate in developing procedures in line with accounting standards and practices
- Continuously improve processes to drive efficiency and accuracy across finance functions
- Additional analysis and reporting, as requested. Other duties and analysis as assigned

Job Specifications:

- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field
- CPA designation or in pursuit considered an asset
- 1–3 years of general accounting experience (hospitality or multi-entity experience an asset)
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and reconciliation processes
- Proficiency in accounting software (NetSuite, or similar ERP an asset)
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
- Positive, team-oriented mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
- Position is based out of Head Office Location, some travel is required to off-site locations
- Weekend and evening hours are required as necessary
