Magest Building Systems is hiring! We are seeking Laborers to join our team on a dedicated night shift.

Magest is locally owned and operated with strong ties to Stratford and surrounding communities.

Responsibilities

- Measuring and cutting Hollowcore (concrete) slabs with a semi automated machine
- Unloading and stacking completed slabs via overhead crane
- Cleaning and prepping production beds via Drivable Prep Machine
- General clean up post cutting in area
- Other duties as required

Requirements

- Work independently as well as in team environment
- Read a tape measure both in imperial and metric
- Ability to lift approximately 50 lbs
- Stand/walk for long periods of time
- To read and understand shop drawings
- Take direction and complete tasks as assigned in a timely manner
- Work in multiple climate temperatures
- Passionate about working in a safe manner
- Available to work overtime as required

Experience Preferred

- Tow motor
- Overhead Crane
- Industrial Machinery (saw or cutting in particular)
- Previous work/understanding of concrete
- Strong attendance record





This will be a 4X10 hour shift, Monday to Thursday 8 pm to 6:30 am There will be a $1 shift premium on top of wage for this shift
