Nova Hotels is hiring a General Manager to lead daily operations at Chateau Nova Peace River.

Chateau Nova is a premier 119-room full-service property in the heart of the Peace Country. Featuring an on-site restaurant and lounge, fitness center, and multi-room conference facilities, this hotel serves as the gathering spot for regional energy sectors, government travel, corporate events, and local functions. Reporting directly to the Senior Operations manager, you will lead cross-departmental teams and serve as the operational anchor on the ground.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

- Cross-Departmental Oversight: Drive operational consistency across Rooms Division, Food & Beverage, and Banquets to keep service quality high and guest satisfaction consistent. Stay visible daily across all operational areas.
- Financial & Operational Balance: Work with corporate directors to track monthly metrics, manage departmental labor, and keep everyday operating costs aligned with revenue targets.
- Team Building: Recruit train and retention focus a multi-department team, fostering a supportive, safe workplace culture.
- Community & Corporate Business:



Maintain solid relationships with long standing industrial clients, regional corporate accounts, and community event organizers to maximize occupancy and event bookings.
- Safety & Standards: Oversee property-wide compliance with food safety, liquor regulations, provincial health guidelines, and safety programs.

Who You Are

- Experienced as a General Manager, AGM, or a Senior Operations Manager, ideally with exposure to full-service properties or F&B; Operations.
- Practical understanding of managing multiple departments under one roof, including banquet and restaurant flow.
- Resourceful and adaptable, you enjoy being on the floor with your team during busy meal rushes, check-ins, or event setups as needed.
- Disciplined approach to cost management, labor scheduling, and operational reporting.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada and excited to live and work in Peace River, AB.
