Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic General Manager to lead our retail operations with energy and precision. This pivotal role requires a proactive leader who can inspire teams, optimize store performance, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. As the driving force behind daily operations, you will ensure that sales goals are met, staff are motivated, and the store functions seamlessly.

Duties

- Oversee all aspects of store management, including sales, merchandising, staffing, and customer service to ensure operational excellence.
- Lead recruiting efforts by interviewing candidates, onboarding new team members, and developing training programs to build a high-performing team.
- Manage payroll, budgeting, and bookkeeping processes to maintain financial health and compliance with company policies.
- Supervise sales management activities such as pricing strategies, promotional campaigns, and inventory purchasing to maximize profitability.
- Implement effective marketing initiatives to attract new customers and retain existing ones while ensuring the store’s brand presence remains strong.
- Oversee POS (Point of Sale) systems and cashiering operations to guarantee smooth transaction processes and accurate cash handling.




- Provide ongoing coaching in areas like customer service, phone etiquette, organizational skills, and leadership development to enhance team performance.

Requirements

- Proven experience in retail management with strong supervising experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster positive customer interactions.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for engaging diverse customer bases.
- Demonstrated skills in negotiation, sales management, merchandising, pricing strategies, and marketing.
- Proficiency in payroll processing, bookkeeping, budgeting, and administrative tasks using relevant software tools.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively across multiple responsibilities.
- Experience with POS systems, cash handling procedures, recruiting, training & development programs.
- Ability to lead by example with a focus on team management, customer service excellence, and operational efficiency.
