Overview

We are seeking an energetic and dynamic General Manager to lead our retail operations with enthusiasm and strategic vision. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily store functions, managing teams, and driving sales growth while ensuring exceptional customer service. Duties

- Lead and supervise all store activities, including sales, customer service, inventory management, and staff performance.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets through proactive marketing and promotional initiatives.
- Recruit, train, and develop team members to ensure high levels of engagement, productivity, and professional growth.
- Manage payroll, budgeting, pricing, and purchasing processes to optimize profitability and operational efficiency.
- Oversee merchandising displays, POS (Point of Sale) systems, cash handling procedures, and store cleanliness to create an inviting shopping environment.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, provide feedback, and foster a collaborative atmosphere.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations,



and legal requirements at all times.

Skills

- Proven experience in retail management with strong supervisory and team leadership skills.
- Excellent negotiation abilities coupled with effective communication skills in both bilingual or multilingual settings.
- Skilled in recruiting, interviewing, training & development of staff to build high-performing teams.
- Proficient in payroll processing, bookkeeping, budgeting, and administrative tasks related to store operations.
- Deep understanding of merchandising techniques, pricing strategies, sales management, and marketing initiatives.
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, cashiering operations, and customer service excellence.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently using time management techniques.
- Demonstrated leadership in supervising retail sales staff while maintaining high standards of phone etiquette and customer interaction.
