What You’ll Be Doing

- Perform general duties in support of mining operations including clean up of material spills and housekeeping in all areas of the mine to company standards.

- Train to safely support other mine team members, including mechanics, crusher operators, rail loaders and mine equipment operators in all areas of the mine.

- Safely operate small equipment, rigid frame haul trucks, articulated haul trucks, wheel loaders, and underground scoop trams.

- Safely follow all standard procedures including vehicle equipment inspections, reporting of deficiencies, fueling, greasing of equipment, vehicle segregation and traffic controls.

What Are We Looking For

- Underground mining experience is an asset.

- Heavy Equipment or Haul Truck experience in a mine site (certification is an asset, but not required – we certify onsite)

- Mechanical aptitude and equipment awareness is an asset.

- The successful candidate will have a proven safety record as well as a history of being a team player and communicating effectively.

Conditions of Employment





- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination and background check.

- Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to apply. Verification of age will be required as a condition of employment.

Work Setting

- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, lifting heavy loads, inclement weather, and elevated noise level.

- Some operations moving into underground mining (50-year plan)
