We are looking for a General/Skilled Labourer to join our team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in a variety of construction tasks and be able to work independently or as part of a team to ensure the successful completion of projects. This role involves providing support for a range of construction activities, including site preparation, material handling, equipment operation, and assisting tradespeople in their work.

Key Responsibilities:

- General Labouring: Perform various construction tasks, such as digging, trenching, concrete pouring, and preparing materials for use in office.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, ensuring they are readily available for the team and in good condition.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate construction equipment such as power tools, small machinery, and other site equipment as needed.
- Assisting Trades: Support skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers, etc.) by providing necessary materials, tools, and assistance on the job site.
- Site Preparation and Clean-Up: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including daily cleanup of construction debris, tools, and equipment.
- Safety Compliance:



Follow all safety protocols and site regulations to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and the team.
- Basic Construction Skills: Carry out basic construction tasks such as mixing cement, laying foundations, securing structures, and assisting with installations.
- Documentation: Assist with tracking materials, hours, and progress of tasks when necessary.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience working as a labourer in construction or related fields.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools, materials, and safety procedures.
- Ability to read and understand construction plans or blueprints (an asset).
- Experience operating small machinery and power tools is preferred.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in outdoor environments, including various weather conditions.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
