Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Glazing Fitter to join our agile installation team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining glass and glazing systems in a variety of ship projects. Your expertise will help ensure the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of passenger cruise liners.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from restoration to new construction, utilizing your skills in a fast-paced environment that values precision and craftsmanship.
Duties
- Use hand tools such as caulking guns, suction cups, drills, and impact drivers to complete installations efficiently and accurately
- Apply caulking and sealants to ensure weatherproofing and insulation of glass units
- Assist with restoration projects by removing old glazing and replacing damaged or outdated glass systems
- Maintain a clean workspace by safely handling materials, tools, and debris throughout each project
Qualifications
- Proven experience with hand tools used in glazing, carpentry, or construction work
- Strong construction background
- Familiarity with various construction techniques
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces while maintaining safety standards
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Physical stamina to stand, lift heavy materials, and perform manual tasks for extended periods
- Ability to travel for extended periods. US Visa is a must.
