Join Line View Farms Ltd. as a Goat Dairy Farm Manager and lead the charge in cultivating a thriving, sustainable dairy operation. This role offers the opportunity to oversee daily farm activities, manage goat health and productivity, and ensure the smooth operation of all farm systems. You’ll be at the forefront of implementing best practices in animal care, farm maintenance, and equipment management, fostering a positive environment for both goats and team members.

This is a permanent,full time job, minimum 30 hours per week with additional hours required during cropping and kidding season.

The hourly wage is currently $32 per hour.

Duties

- Oversee and manage daily farm operations, including goat milking, feeding, and health monitoring to ensure optimal productivity and animal well-being
- Maintain and coordinate repair for farm equipment, milking equipment, and tools to keep operations running efficiently
- Operate farm machinery and power tools safely for tasks such as barn cleaning, infrastructure repairs, and land management
- Coordinate with veterinary professionals for health checks and vaccinations to maintain herd health standards as well as farm biosecurity
- Hire and supervise farm staff , providing training on proper use of equipment, safety procedures, and animal handling techniques
- Keep detailed records of milk production, animal health data,



maintenance activities, and inventory management as well as financial data.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards related to dairy farming operations
- Find and purchase feed, equipment, supplies needed for continued operations and cropping

Experience

- Proven minimum 1 year experience managing a goat dairy farm with approximately 450 milking animals plus young stock.
- Minimum education: College level program in Agriculture
- Familiarity with best practices for crops and harvesting
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely including tractors or loaders used in farm maintenance and cropping tasks
- Knowledge of financial records for record keeping, inventory tracking, and feed calculations
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting regularly and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining records and schedules
