Constance Lake Education Authority is seeking a Grade 4 Teacher at the Mamawmatawa Holistic Education Centre, a facility providing community-based education from Early Childhood to Grade 12 learners.

Location: Mamawmatawa Holistic Education Centre -Elementary (JK-Gr. 8)

Start Date: Recent School Year 2026-2027

Qualifications & Skills:

· Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or equivalent, with Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) certification (or relevant provincial/territorial certification).

· Familiarity with provincial curriculum and Indigenous curriculum resources (e.g., The Ontario FNMI Curriculum, First Nations Holistic Learning Model, etc.).

· A dynamic, student-centered educator who brings energy and creativity to the classroom.





· A strong commitment to culturally relevant and responsive teaching practices.

· An understanding of the unique strengths and challenges of Indigenous learners.

· Willingness to participate in community events and school initiatives beyond the classroom.

· Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening (required).

· Ability to speak Cree-Ojibway or Oji-Cree is an asset.
